Hailing from the UK, Ian Harfield boasts more than 20 years’ experience managing and delivering services across a variety of sectors including healthcare, military, commercial, residential and industrial. Since arriving in the region in 2007, he has played a pivotal role in driving CBFM’s growth in the Middle East and establishing the firm’s reputation as a provider with unparalleled technical prowess.
“As a primarily technically-focused business, we are focussing on infrastructure maintenance contracts and energy service projects, whilst continuing to participate in standard FM tenders as our current core business. We are also planning to develop business and move into other countries in the region such as Oman,” says Harfield.
Highlights of the company’s performance in 2015 include a healthy $68mn (AED250mn) in value of orders for the next four years, as well as expectations of around 55% revenue growth with gross margin growth following closely around 40%.
CBFM also achieved regional milestones with its first data centre maintenance contract with The Gulf Data Hub, and landing the management of the Khalifa Industrial Zone (KIZAD) of Khalifa Port.
